Stephen Kroah is responsible for overseeing the investment portfolio of ALAS. He interacts on a regular basis with ALAS’s senior management team, the ALAS Investment Committee, the ALAS Board of Directors, the investment consultant, and external investment managers who are responsible for managing the portfolio mandates set by ALAS. Stephen is a member of ALAS’s Pension Committee.
The Investment Department provides ALAS with the necessary liquidity to pay claims and expenses and is integral to growing the capital base of the firm.
Prior to joining ALAS, Stephen worked in various roles in asset management and capital markets. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps prior to his finance career.
Stephen is a CFA Charterholder. He enjoys playing guitar in a local Chicago band.
