Founded in 1979 by 35 law firms, representing 5,000 attorneys, with $1 million in capital, ALAS has grown into the industry leader in LPL coverage. ALAS now includes more than 220 firms, representing nearly 80,000 attorneys, and has set the standard for comprehensive professional liability insurance in the legal industry.
