ESGR Patriot Award Presented to ALAS

The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award program recognizes employers for implementing employment policies and practices that are supportive of their employees’ participation in the National Guard and Reserve. Recently, ALAS and specifically Lisa Jensen, our ALAS Chief Administrative Officer, were presented with an ESGR Patriot Award. Lisa and ALAS were nominated by Gabriel Frausto, a Human Resources Assistant at ALAS and a member of the Illinois Army National Guard. Gabe nominated Lisa because she has helped him navigate several training commitments related to his guard service that required extended leave from ALAS. He noted that she was understanding, cooperative, and helpful and that she embodied the spirit of the award.
