ALAS Sponsoring ABA National Legal Malpractice Conference

ALAS is sponsoring the American Bar Association (ABA) National Legal Malpractice Conference, September 18–20, 2024, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The fall conference typically draws nearly 300 attorneys and insurance professionals from around the country. Sonya Naar, Vice President—Senior Claims Counsel, is speaking on the panel, “Legal Malpractice at Home and Abroad: A Discussion of the LPL Landscape in the U.S. and Canada.”

In addition, Alexander Berg was recently appointed as a member of the ABA Standing Committee on Lawyers’ Professional Liability, taking over that role from Diana Hsu who served on the committee for two years. Alex is pleased to be a part of the ABA’s efforts to provide programming and resources on risk management and loss prevention for lawyers.
